A camera has been in my hands ever since I can remember, with my Dad and Grandfather's mentoring. I've received several photographic awards, shown throughout many galleries / museums and contributed to publications with my life long photographic passion.
Vibrant color is key and I thoroughly enjoy being in the moment, composing subject matter in the field! My wife and I have the fortunate opportunity to split time in the Palouse region of eastern Washington and the Idaho border as well as Hawaii on the island of Kauai.
The primal intent of my work is for people to feel comfortable and relaxed, although involved with observing the nuances within the image. I enjoy seeking new sights through travel and confronting the photographic potential!
